Launching a site is the start, not the finish line. Ongoing support covers the maintenance work that keeps a site fast, secure, and working correctly as dependencies update and the business changes around it.
That includes routine updates, fixing things that break after a platform or library change, small feature additions, and being available when something needs attention outside of a full new project.
Usually set up as a lightweight retainer alongside an existing site, so there's someone accountable for it after launch instead of it going untouched until something breaks.
